Saturday’s fixture between Nottingham Forest and Barnsley delivered a goalless draw at the City Ground. Nottingham Forest arrived at the game looking pick up points after losing their last game 2-1 to Middlesbrough. Barnsley, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. After today’s result, Nottingham Forest are in 21st place, with 26 points from 27 matches, while Barnsley sit in 12th, with 36 points from 27.

For Nottingham Forest Fouad Bachirou, Alexander Mighten and Loic Mbe Soh came on for Samba Sow, Anthony Knockaert and Tobias Figueiredo, while Barnsley brought on Carlton Morris, Victor Adeboyejo, Michael Sollbauer and Jordan Williams to replace Conor Chaplin, Dominik Frieser, Toby Sibbick and Herbie Kane.

There were bookings for Gaetan Bong from Nottingham and Herbie Kane and Michal Helik for Barnsley.

Nottingham Forest will play their next fixture away against Wycombe Wanderers, while Barnsley will face Derby County at home.
