Huddersfield Town beat Sheffield United with a thumping 2-1 victory on Saturday at Bramall Lane. Sheffield U arrived at the game looking pick up points, following a previous defeat to West Bromwich Albion. Huddersfield were coming off the back of a 1-0 win against Preston North End. As it stands, Sheffield U are in 23rd place, with 1 point from 4 matches, while Huddersfield sit in 9th, with 7 points from 4.

After an un-eventful first half, Huddersfield continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Josh Koroma, at 75 minutes. However, the good fortune didn’t last for long. An equalizer from Billy Sharp in the 90th minute brought The Blades level. The Terriers in turn, then responded just before the final whistle increasing their lead with an effort from Levi Colwill and seeing the game end 2-1.

Sheffield U brought on Billy Sharp, Ben Osborn and David McGoldrick for Rhian Brewster, Rhys Norrington-Davies and John Fleck. Huddersfield brought on Fraizer Campbell, Harry Toffolo and Alex Vallejo, to replace Danny Ward, Scott High and Josh Koroma.

The referee booked Ollie Turton, Levi Colwill and Lee Nicholls for Huddersfield.

Sheffield U will play their next fixture away against Luton Town, while Huddersfield will face Reading at home.
