Queens Park Rangers fell to a home defeat at the hands of Bristol City at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium on Saturday. QPR were looking to get back their winning ways, following a previous defeat to Bournemouth. Bristol are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As it stands, both teams are on 12 points and occupy 8th and 9th places respectively after 8 matches.

The Robins started the first half well, with Chris Martin giving Bristol the lead just before half-time, seeing out the first half 0-1.

Rangers fought back, thanks to Sam McCallum finding the net at the 55 minute mark. In the end though, Bristol just before the final whistle took the victory following a Nahki Wells goal. The final result, QPR 1, Bristol 2.

Both teams used all available substitutes. For QPR, Charlie Austin, Albert Adomah and Dominic Ball, came on for Andre Gray, Moses Odubajo and Lyndon Dykes, Bristol brought on Jay Dasilva, Nahki Wells and Antoine Semenyo, to replace Nathan Baker, Chris Martin and Cameron Pring.

There were bookings for Andre Gray, Yoann Barbet, Dominic Ball and Stefan Johansen from QPR, and Tyreeq Bakinson, for Bristol.

QPR will next travel to West Bromwich Albion, while Bristol will face Fulham at home.
