Norwich City see off Reading 4-1 on Saturday at Carrow Road. Norwich were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Reading, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. After today’s result, Norwich are in 1st place, with 96 points from 45 matches, while Reading sit in 7th, with 69 points from 45.

The Royals started the game well, with Josh Laurent finding the net at the 12 minute mark. However, their lead was short lived, as Kieran Dowell equalised for The Canaries at the 30 minute mark. The score at half time was 1-1.

Norwich rallied after this and were rewarded, with Kieran Dowell finding the net again, 64 minutes in. Norwich looked to have the game under control when they scored again and incerased their lead, thanks to a goal from Xavier Quintilla at the 78 minute mark to establish a 3-1. Norwich then netted again and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Teemu Pukki just before the final whistle to make it 4-1.

For Norwich, Alexander Tettey, Mario Vrancic, Onel Hernandez, Jordan Hugill and Bali Mumba, came on for Emiliano Buendia, Kieran Dowell, Todd Cantwell, Xavier Quintilla and Max Aarons. Reading brought on Yakou Meite, Alfa Semedo, Tomas Esteves and Mamadi Camara, to replace John Swift, Dejan Tetek, Michael Olise and Lucas Joao.

There were bookings for Max Aarons and Oliver Skipp from Norwich, and Omar Richards and Alfa Semedo, for Reading.

Norwich will next play Barnsley away, with Reading facing Huddersfield Town at home.
