Wycombe Wanderers ease to comfortable win over Middlesbrough 3-0 on Saturday at the Riverside Stadium. Following the final whistle at the end of the last game of the Championship season, Boro are in 10th place on the table and has 64 points while Wycombe sit in 22nd with 43 points after 46 matches.

The Chairboys started the first half well, with Fred Onyedinma opening the rout, 14 minutes in. However they weren’t finished yet and Garath McCleary made it 2-0, on 33 minutes, to take a 0-2 lead into half time.

Wycombe continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Jason McCarthy at the 56 minute mark, leaving the final score at 3-0.

For Boro, Connor Malley, Chuba Akpom, Josh Coburn, Hayden Hackney and Jack Robinson, came on for Marvin Johnson, Djed Spence, Hayden Coulson, Yannick Bolasie and George Saville. Wycombe brought on David Wheeler, Daryl Horgan, Alex Samuel, Anis Mehmeti and Matt Bloomfield, to replace Dennis Adeniran, Garath McCleary, Uche Ikpeazu, Admiral Muskwe and Curtis Thompson.

There were bookings for Marc Bola from Boro. For Wycombe, Dennis Adeniran saw yellow.
