Derby 1 – Forest 1- Victory beyond reach for The Rams at Pride Park Stadium

Derby were held to 1-1 draw by Forest down on Saturday at Pride Park Stadium. Derby wanted to continue adding points after a scoreless draw against Middlesbrough in their previous match. Forest were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Stoke City. Following today’s result, Derby and Forest sit 12th and 23rd places with 6 points and 1 point respectively.

Derby started the game well, thanks to a goal from Tom Lawrence, 11 minutes in, finalising the first half 1-0.

Forest took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Brennan Johnson, 82 minutes in. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.

For Derby, Jack Kirk Stretton and Lee Buchanan, came on for Tom Lawrence and Kamil Jozwiak. Forest brought on Alexander Mighten and Lewis Grabban, to replace Joao Carvalho and Ryan Yates.

There were bookings for Kamil Jozwiak, Ravel Morrison, Nathan Byrne and Louie Sibley from Derby, and James Garner, for Forest.

Derby will play away against Birmingham City, while Forest will face Cardiff City at home.
