Huddersfield Town beat Blackpool with a thumping 3-0 victory on Tuesday at Bloomfield Road. Blackpool were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Huddersfield, on the other hand, lost 2-1 in the last match they played against Stoke City. As things stand, Blackpool are in 21st place on the table and has 5 points while Huddersfield sit in 4th with 13 points after 7 matches.
After an un-eventful first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on The Terriers who started the second half well, with an early goal from Josh Koroma in the 48th minute. Huddersfield looked to have the game under control when they scored again and incerased their lead, thanks to a goal from Matty Pearson in the 54th minute to establish a 2-0. Huddersfield then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Jonathan Hogg, 62 minutes in to make it 3-0.
Blackpool brought on Keshi Anderson, Gary Madine and Dujon Sterling for Jerry Yates, Tyreece John-Jules and Jordan Gabriel. Huddersfield brought on Ollie Turton, Alex Vallejo and Ademipo Odubeko, to replace Danny Ward, Danel Sinani and Josh Koroma.
The referee booked Matty Pearson for Huddersfield.
Blackpool will next play Middlesbrough away, with Huddersfield facing Nottingham Forest at home.
