Cardiff City started the first half well, following a goal from Curtis Nelson in the 18th minute. Later, Cardiff City scored again and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Kieffer Moore in the 25th minute, to take a 2-0 lead into half time. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 2-0.
