Barnsley were held to 2-2 draw by Cardiff City down on Wednesday at Oakwell Ground. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Barnsley arrived at the game looking pick up points after losing their last game 1-0 to Watford. Cardiff City, on the other hand, were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Queens Park Rangers. Barnsley started well with, with Mads Andersen opening the scoring, 20 minutes in to see out the first half 1-0.
The second half started all good for Barnsley, beginning with a goal from Cauley Woodrow in the 52nd minute. However, Cardiff City hit back in the 58th minute, with a goal from Sheyi Ojo. Later, Cardiff City took the lead with a goal form a goal from Kieffer Moore, 68 minutes in, and the game ended 2-2.
