On Wednesday, Burnley and Fulham were held to a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor. Both Burnley and Fulham arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. Burnley were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run after winning last match. Fulham were looking to extend their winning run after a 2-0 victory against Everton. As the table looks today, Burnley and Fulham currently occupy 15th and 18th spots in the league, with 27 points and 19 points respectively after 17 matches.
After a goalless first half, Fulham staged a comeback in the second half, beginning with early goal from Ola Aina in the 49th minute. However, their lead didn’t last for long, as an equalizer from a Ashley Barnes in the 52nd minute brought Burnley level, and the game ended 1-1.
For Burnley, Robbie Brady and Josh Brownhill came on for Mario Lemina, Bobby Reid and Kenny Tete, while Fulham brought on Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Ivan Cavaleiro and Antonee Robinson to replace Mario Lemina, Bobby Reid and Kenny Tete.
