Wolfsburg beats SC Freiburg 3-0 on Sunday at the Volkswagen Arena. Both teams arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. It was an impressive opening from Wolfsburg, with John Brooks opening the rout, 21 minutes in. Later, Wolfsburg took the lead with a goal form a goal from Wout Weghorst in the 39th minute, thereby seeing the first half to a 2-0.
Wolfsburg continued to pile on the pressure the second half and were rewarded, with a goal from Yannick Gerhardt just before the final whistle, which sealed the victory for Wolfsburg.
