Saturday Bundesliga action from the Mercedes Benz Arena, as Stuttgart take on Hoffenheim.

Ninth placed Hoffenheim, are away to thirteenth placed Stuttgart on Saturday.

Stuttgart arrive at this meeting, having secured five points so far this season

Stuttgart’s recent run of poor form will be worrying for manager Pellegrino Matarazzo, with a 0-0 draw to Bochum in their last fixture, which followed a defeat to Bayer Leverkusen. The Reds will be fired up for this next match, but mustn’t throw caution to the wind.

Stuttgart need to produce the kind of form they have not been displaying that has brought five games without a win, if they are to consider finishing the season outside of the relegation zone. They currently sit in thirteenth place, with a total of five points having won one game, drawn two matches, and lost three fixtures.

Stuttgart have won one game and lost two meetings of their three League matches at home this season.

A win in this fixture, would take Stuttgart’s points from 5 to 8, so far this season.

Good Attacking Performance

They have a good scoring record of nine goals. This is largely down to the efforts of their stand-out attackers – Marc Kempf (2), Hamadi Al Ghaddioui (2), and Wataru Endo (1). Pellegrino Matarazzo will know the risks of constantly leaking goals throughout the season, with 12 goals conceded so far. He needs to find a way to shore-up the defence, in order that opponents are unable to take advantage of this.

Pellegrino Matarazzo could be missing up to six of their players through injury or illness for the game on Saturday.

With the Bundesliga season well into its stride, Hoffenheim have managed to gain eight points

With a win in their previous game, (3-1) against Wolfsburg, Hoffenheim will likely be in a positive frame of mind.

Hoffenheim’s League position speaks for itself, as From Kraichgau region continue their rich vein of winning form. Their last win, was the 1st in a row. They currently stand ninth in the League, with eight points having won two games, drawn two fixtures, and lost two matches.

Hoffenheim will travel to Stuttgart with a win record on the road that is quite unremarkable, with one win and one dart.

A win in this fixture would take Hoffenheim’s points to 11 in the League.

Good Attacking Performance

Hoffenheim have a good scoring record this season, with 11 netted so far. This is largely down to the efforts of their stand-out attackers – Jacob Bruun Larsen (2), Christoph Baumgartner (2), and Pavel Kaderabek (1). Hoffenheim have conceded eight goals.

Hoffenheim’s ever growing list of players missing due to injury or illness to be a concern for Sebastian Hoeness, ahead of this Saturday’s fixture against their opponents.

Stuttgart v Hoffenheim – Head-to-Head.

It’s an encounter that strangely has tended to favour the visiting team with Stuttgart 10 wins and seven draws. In addition, the visitors have not been able to beat Stuttgart in consecutive home games now. March 2021 was the most recent time these two clashed in this competition and The Reds took all three points winning 2-0. As we can see both teams have scored in their last match and and it’s 71.94% that they both score again on Saturday.

Hoffenheim to win – probability is 41.15 percent.
