Bayern delivered a resounding 1-0 victory against Hertha Berlin on Friday, at The Olympiastadion. Hertha Berlin were looking forward to meeting again, following a previous defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt while Bayern Munich were coming from consecutive wins against Hoffenheim and Schalke. After today’s result, Hertha Berlin and Bayern Munich sit 15th, (17 points) and 1st, (48 points), in the table respectively, after 20 matches.

It was an impressive opening from Bayern Munich, thanks to Kingsley Coman opening the scoring, 21 minutes in and managed to see out the first half 1-0. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.

For Hertha Berlin Omar Alderete, Matteo Guendouzi, Nemanja Radonjic, Mathew Leckie and Sami Khedira came on for Jordan Torunarigha, Vladimir Darida, Krzysztof Piatek, Dodi Lukebakio and Santiago Ascacibar, while Bayern brought on Douglas Costa, Corentin Tolisso and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting to replace Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman.

There were bookings for Vladimir Darida and Sami Khedira from Hertha Berlin and Benjamin Pavard for Bayern.

Hertha Berlin will next play Stuttgart away, with Bayern Munich facing Arminia Bielefeld at home.
