Bristol City fell to a home defeat at the hands of Barnsley at Ashton Gate on Saturday. Bristol City were looking to get back winning ways, following a previous defeat to Reading. Barnsley were coming from consecutive wins against Blackburn Rovers and Brentford. As it stands, Bristol City are in 15th place on the table and has 39 points while Barnsley sit in 10th with 45 points after 31 matches.
After a goalless first half, Barnsley continued to pile on the pressure the second half and were rewarded, beginning with Carlton Morris opening the scoring in the 67th minute, which sealed the victory for the visitors.
