Bournemouth beat Watford with a thumping 1-0 victory on Saturday at Vitality Stadium. Bournemouth were looking to get back winning ways, following a previous defeat to Cardiff City whilst Watford were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Blackburn Rovers and Derby County. After today’s result, Bournemouth and Watford currently occupy 5th and 3rd spots in the table, with 52 points and 60 points respectively after 33 matches.

After a goalless first half, Bournemouth continued to pile on the pressure the second half and were rewarded, beginning with Arnaut Danjuma opening the scoring, 61 minutes in, sealing a resounding 1-0 victory for the home side.

As for substitutions, for Bournemouth, Jack Wilshere, Shane Long and Philip Billing came on for Junior Stanislas, Dominic Solanke and Ben Pearson, while Watford brought on Dan Gosling, Achraf Lazaar and Stipe Perica to replace Nathaniel Chalobah, Adam Masina and Ken Sema.
