Blackburn Rovers were defeated at home by Watford at Ewood Park on Wednesday. Blackburn Rovers arrived at the game looking pick up points after losing their last game 1-0 to Nottingham Forest. Later, Watford scored again and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Ismaila Sarr to make it 2-0. Blackburn Rovers hit back thanks to a goal from Harvey Elliott in the 43rd minute just before half-time to establish the 2-1, thereby seeing the first half to a 2-1.
